The course begins with an overview of RMan/shading and a quick intro' to RSL, RenderMan's shading language. The next couple of classes deal with a variety of examples of surface, displacement and light shaders and also discuss 'shadeops'. Class #4 presents global illumination shaders and Slim templates. The final class has to do with Slim MEL commands, procedural RIB generation and other misc. topics.
