SSL 102, Mondays, 6:30 - 9:20 pm [with a 5-minute break around 8 pm]
PLEASE stick around for 20 minutes if I am not in class by 6:30! I make every attempt to get there on time - I am rarely late. But traffic through downtown can be unpredictable (I commute from Glendale, way north of Downtown), hence the '20 minute rule'. If I don't show up by 6:50 we can consider the class to be canceled and will make up the material during subsequent classes.
Following are the dates for the midterm and Final exam. Please make arrangements to ensure that you will be able to take the tests on these dates. Requests for makeups/substitutions will not be encouraged - sorry.
Midterm: Oct. 11, 6:30-8:00 pm, location TBD Final: Dec. 13, 6:30-8:00 pm, location TBD
The lecture pages below contain links to onscreen/printable PDFs. Links to future classes are 'broken' and will be enabled as we go along.
Often the pages also contain additional lecture notes, links, images, animations and code. For exam purposes you are expected to know everything in the PDFs - the rest is there by way of extra info.
Note - given that each is a 3-hour class, I'm 'doubling up' lecture topics.
